Lamblin et Fils ‘Vaudesir’ Chablis Grand Cru 2022
The Vaudesir vineyard is shaped like an amphitheatre, and is cut through by a track known as the “Chemin des Vaudésirs”, giving it a double orientation. The soils are lighter and the dual orientation allows the grapes to achieve phenolic ripeness whilst maintaining acidity. This ensures balanced wines combining weight and a mineral freshness so prized in the region.
The wines tend to be softer and more elegant than other Grand Crus, with floral characters rounding out Chablis’ iconic minerality.
