Domaine des Ronces “Florale” Chardonnay 2018
The first vines planted on the property were Chardonnay, and this cuvee makes use of gnarled old vines to great a wine of great fruit density and freshness.  Made in the ouillé style, this wine fully represents the marl soils of the region and its long growing season.  After harvest, Kevin ferments this wine in stainless steal with native yeasts to preserve freshness.  Aging also occurs in tank for 12 months before bottling with a minimum of sulfur
